AXE FM - Now with added iPhone ability

God bless our Ken (pictured) for finally getting off his arse and figuring out how to listen to the Christmas Show on his iPhone. Apparently, by clicking on the 'special' iPhone app link which I have installed on all show posts, you can stream the show on your iPhone via Quicktime. Thanks for that Kenneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

The Christmas Show is coming... The Christmas Show is coming...

It's Christmassssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yelled Noddy Holder as I kneed him in the bollocks. Fuckin' Noddy Holder and Slade. You simply can't get away from that poxy song at this time of year. I confess to being a sucker for Christmas music - except for the Slade song. I've been collecting the stuff for years and one thing that is as sure as eggs is eggs around these parts is once Santa comes to visit the kids in our street on his Rotary powered sleigh and the Christmas tree has been delivered, the old man is sure to break out the Christmas records as he starts to get 'in the mood'. Well two birds have been killed with one stone this year (I've just videoed the kids meeting Santa in the street and have shelled out a small fortune for a six foot monster that I literally have to tie to the living room radiator) and so I've commenced with making my 2009 crimbo compos ready for the swingin' turkey basting session that me and Mrs. Axe will be groovin' to on Christmas Day. And all of which means that the AXEFM Radio Download Christmas Hour will be swinging into full scale production anytime soon. It'll be a clean living family affair too so you can listen in while basting the turkey or peeling the spuds/carrots/Brussels/parsnips whatever and I'll be doing my best Sunday morning Michael Parkinson Radio 2 mumble "bimble bimble bimble... and here's the lovely Diana Krall..."

Public information service announcement

In case you're wondering that's me with Kenny and Ister while out on the piss at a recent Rock Til You Drop acoustic afternoon at The Libertine in SE1. Much beer and potatoes were consumed. Don't ask, but needless to say it was a gloriously messy all afternoon session. Marvelous!

So what's with this site then? Well so far there's 16 hours of my own record collection to be found on these pages in easy streaming hourly soundbites called AXEFM Radio Download Hour Shows. Just click play to stream the show from your browser. However, if you want to download the shows all you have to do is to click on the right hand side of the player where it says Divshare which will open a new window where you can follow the instructions to download the original file. However, if you are browsing this site from an iPhone you're fucked because iPhones don't support Divshare. And good on 'em too! However, if you want to know what makes me tick, musically speaking that is, then you've come to the right place. New shows will be added when I can be arsed.

If you are not interested in either me or the music; ask yourself this one simple question: What the fuck are you doing here? In the meantime, dig this below.
